Wordle Bot Takes Down Human Player on 2XP Friday

It's 2XP Friday for Wordle players, which means that regardless of whether you guess the word in two or four attempts, your score will be doubled. The hint for today's Wordle was 'You might find one working in The Pitt,' and the clue was that the Wordle has a double letter.

Erik Kain, the writer behind this Wordle guide, shared his experience with solving the puzzle. He started by using the Wordle Bot's suggested word 'SLATE' but then changed his approach after realizing it wouldn't work. Instead, he chose the word 'CHAIR,' which left him with just 13 words and three colorful boxes.

Kain admitted that he debated between two possible solutions, 'REACT' and 'TRACE.' When 'REACT' turned out to be correct, Kain knew that his initial suspicion was right, the Wordle Bot had guessed it in two attempts. As a result, Kain lost one point for guessing in three attempts, while the Wordle Bot earned two points for solving the puzzle in two attempts and another point for beating Kain.
