World Chain Boosts Blockchain Scalability with Full Block Access Lists
World Chain has unveiled its full block access lists to boost blockchain scalability. This innovation will allow validators to check blocks in parallel as they are being built, thanks to World Chain's architecture. The network can now aim for a throughput of up to one gigagas per second while maintaining validator hardware requirements.
The breakthrough is made possible by the flashblock architecture, which broadcasts access list data gradually every 200 milliseconds. This expands on the EIP-7928 protocol and provides a record of the blockchain state each transaction reads and writes. Validators can now start validating transactions as soon as the block is built rather than waiting until the complete block has been created.
World Chain's implementation of full block access lists via a runtime flag will be launched on the World Chain Mainnet on August 17. This solution shows how to scale blockchain performance while retaining accessibility for independent validators, which is essential for sustaining decentralized networks.
