World Foundation Sells $52.5M in WLD Tokens Amid Cautious Outlook

The World Foundation has sold approximately 217.4 million WLD tokens valued at around $52.5 million, according to on-chain analytics firm Hubz.

The transaction indicates the foundation likely cashed out the tokens at an average price of $0.2415, receiving about 47.5 million USDC in return.

Hubz analysts noted that simultaneous USDC inflows and WLD outflows from the foundation's wallets pointed to an intentional sale rather than a routine internal fund transfer.

This suggests the sale could exert notable downward pressure on the token's price, given its size is large enough to absorb available buy-side liquidity in the current WLD market.
