WULF Stock Surges as TeraWulf's Anthropic Deal Fuels Optimism
TeraWulf Inc., the company behind WULF stock, has seen its shares rise by 3.25% as investors become increasingly optimistic about its bitcoin mining expansion and long-term AI/HPC hosting prospects.
The rally is driven in part by a recent deal with Anthropic, which will see TeraWulf lease out space at its Justified Data campus for the next 20 years. This agreement is expected to generate around $19 billion in contracted revenue, although some analysts estimate that total contract value could be as high as $33 billion.
The company has also freed up roughly $450 million by selling its stake in a joint venture at a premium, which it plans to use for further investments in AI campuses. However, TeraWulf's heavy spending on data-center build-outs and power-secured campuses means that the firm is currently running large GAAP losses.
Despite this, analysts remain bullish on WULF stock, with major firms including B. Riley, Needham, Chardan, Cantor Fitzgerald, Keefe Bruyette, and Citizens all maintaining Buy-style ratings. Their targets are clustered in the low-to-high $30s, although one analyst is predicting a price of up to $40.
