Wyoming Integrates Chainlink Proof of Reserve for Enhanced FRNT Transparency
The Wyoming Stable Token Commission has partnered with blockchain oracle network Chainlink to enhance transparency and security for its state-issued Frontier Stable Token (FRNT). The integration of Chainlink's Proof of Reserve technology will provide near-real-time on-chain verification of FRNT's reserves and token supply.
Wyoming already publishes daily reserve attestations for FRNT, but the new integration will offer more timely visibility into changes in the token's backing between reporting periods. This is made possible by combining independent examinations by The Network Firm with Chainlink's infrastructure.
The commission is also working to adopt Chainlink's Secure Mint feature, which would require verified reserves to equal or exceed FRNT's total supply before new tokens can be minted.
