Wyoming Picks Chainlink for Secure Cross-Chain Infrastructure
The Wyoming Stable Token Commission has finalized its adoption of Chainlink CCIP as the exclusive cross-chain infrastructure for its Frontier Stable Token, known as FRNT. This move follows a security review that flagged concerns with LayerZero's disclosure practices and operational security.
Chainlink CCIP was chosen due to its stack of security layers, including audited software, active monitoring systems, and built-in risk controls. Every transaction is redundantly validated by at least 16 independent node operators before it settles.
The FRNT stablecoin currently operates across eight blockchains: Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Hedera, Optimism, and Polygon. Chainlink CCIP carries SOC 2 Type 2 certification, a compliance standard institutions typically expect from vendors with sensitive financial infrastructure.
