The Wyoming Stable Token Commission has implemented Chainlink Proof of Reserve for the Frontier Stable Token (FRNT), the first stablecoin issued by a U.S. public entity.

This move is expected to boost transparency around FRNT's backing and goes beyond the baseline requirements of the GENIUS Act.

The reserves of FRNT will be verified near real-time via Chainlink, providing automated verification and confirmed reserve data directly onchain.

This new standard for state-backed digital assets in the U.S. is expected to strengthen trust in the stablecoin, with the Commission's executive director stating that this provides 'transparent, verifiable confirmation that the Frontier Stable Token is fully backed by high-quality reserve assets.'
