Wyoming Taps Chainlink for Reserve Verification on State-Issued Stablecoin

The state of Wyoming has chosen Chainlink to verify the reserves backing its state-issued stablecoin, Frontier Stable Token (FRNT).

The Wyoming Stable Token Commission adopted Chainlink's Proof of Reserve system as the on-chain asset verification infrastructure for FRNT.

This will involve external verification by accounting firm Network Firm, which will confirm both actual reserves and the amount of FRNT in circulation under standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Chainlink will transfer the verified reserve data onto the blockchain, allowing regulators and financial institutions to confirm in real-time whether reserves matching FRNT issuance are in place.
