Wyoming Upgrades Cross-Chain Infrastructure with Chainlink's Enhanced Security
The Wyoming Stable Token Commission has upgraded its cross-chain infrastructure to Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) for enhanced operational security. This decision follows a thorough security review, which identified concerns with LayerZero's disclosure practices and operational security.
The Frontier Stable Token (FRNT), issued by the Wyoming Stable Token Commission, is backed by US dollars and short-term US Treasuries. It has been deployed on eight public blockchains: Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Hedera, Optimism, Polygon, and Solana.
Chainlink CCIP provides a defense-in-depth approach to security, including institutional certifications such as SOC 2 Type 2, audited codebase, robust monitoring systems, built-in risk controls, and decentralized architecture. This infrastructure has been adopted by the world's largest financial institutions and market infrastructures.
