Wyoming Upgrades FRNT Reserve Verification with Chainlink Proof of Reserve
Wyoming's Stable Token Commission has upgraded its system for verifying reserves behind the state-issued Frontier Stable Token (FRNT). The new setup uses Chainlink Proof of Reserve to publish verified reserve and supply data on-chain in near-real-time, replacing scheduled attestations.
This change is designed to help market participants track backing more quickly between formal disclosure periods. According to the commission, the system combines independent reserve examinations conducted by The Network Firm with Chainlink's infrastructure, making data available on-chain on a near-real-time basis.
FRNT was migrated exclusively to Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) roughly two weeks earlier and is backed by US dollars and short-term US Treasurys. The commission also signaled an additional step on the horizon: adopting Chainlink's Secure Mint feature, which would enforce that verified reserves must equal or exceed FRNT's total supply before new tokens can be minted.
