Wyoming's FRNT Stable Token Adopts Chainlink Proof of Reserve for Enhanced Transparency
The Wyoming Stable Token Commission has adopted Chainlink Proof of Reserve to verify the reserves backing its state stable token, FRNT. This move provides transparent and verifiable confirmation that FRNT is fully backed by high-quality reserve assets. The Commission's Executive Director, Anthony Apollo, framed this adoption as verification rather than marketing.
The system pushes bank and Treasury reserve figures into public smart contracts in near real-time. As a result, anyone can verify that the Frontier Stable Token (FRNT) remains fully backed. Holders previously depended on daily attestations posted to the Commission's website, but this new onchain feed closes those gaps.
Chainlink Proof of Reserve relies on independent oracle nodes rather than a single reporting party. Those nodes query trusted off-chain data sources and aggregate the results before publishing them to an onchain reference contract. Meanwhile, The Network Firm conducts independent examinations of FRNT reserves under AICPA standards, which Wyoming then publishes onchain through the Chainlink feed.
