X Integrates Brokerage Partnerships into Cashtag Feature
X has expanded its Cashtag feature to include trading access through top brokerages. The move is part of X's Cashtag Partner Program in the US, which allows users to seamlessly transition from financial conversations on the platform to participating brokerage platforms.
The supported brokerage partners include Interactive Brokers, Moomoo, Gemini, Kraken, and Coinbase. This integration enables users to tap a Cashtag to view an asset's price chart and related posts, then select a brokerage partner and log in or create an account to complete the transaction on the brokerage platform.
X's goal is to bridge the gap between financial discovery and market discussion with direct access to trading capabilities. This expansion of X's push into financial services aims to make it easier for users to act on their knowledge without requiring them to separately search for a brokerage.
