The OKX exchange's Ethereum layer-2 network, X Layer, has reached record levels in DeFi activity after breaking past $100 million in total value locked (TVL) and $2 billion in stablecoin supply. The milestones came after the integration of Aave and Uniswap DeFi protocols on X Layer.

The integration of Aave and Uniswap has been a major catalyst for growth, with Aave V3 leading the way at $85.34 million locked, followed closely by Uniswap's $21.24 million. The two protocols together account for the bulk of X Layer's DeFi footprint.

X Layer's DEX volume, fees, and stablecoin market cap have also seen significant growth, with a 25% gain in DEX volume over the last week, reaching $520.65 million. The chain has topped 4.2 million cumulative active addresses and 400 million on-chain transactions.
