Xaman Wallet Ditches Minimum Trade Fee to Boost XRP Ledger Liquidity
Xaman Wallet has made a significant change to its fee structure by removing the minimum 0.09 XRP fee on trades, which was introduced in January 2025 as part of its service fee system.
The move aims to reduce friction and increase liquidity on the XRP Ledger network, making it more accessible to traders moving smaller amounts who were previously priced out by the floor.
While the 0.8% trading fee on swaps and decentralized exchange activity remains in place, removing the minimum fee changes the lower bound for trades that couldn't make economic sense below a certain size.
Xaman's evolving fee structure has seen it transition from relying on its Pro subscription tier to a revenue model based on transaction-based fees, with the January 2025 fee introduction being a significant shift in this direction.
