XLM Drops Amid Macro Uncertainty, But Stellar Fundamentals Remain Strong
XLM, the native token of Stellar, dropped by 3.28% on July 25, 2026, in line with a broader crypto market downturn driven by macroeconomic uncertainty and technical repositioning.
The decline is largely attributed to stronger-than-expected U.S. employment data released on July 24, which has raised expectations of a Federal Reserve rate hike later this month.
Despite the short-term price weakness, Stellar's fundamentals remain strong, with over $2 billion in real-world assets issued on its blockchain in Q1 2026 and the recent activation of Protocol 27, also known as the Zipper upgrade, which enhances security and smart account features.
Celal Kucuker, a crypto strategist, noted that Stellar possesses one of the strongest long-term chart structures among major cryptocurrencies, suggesting potential for significant gains once market sentiment shifts.
