XRP Analysts See Repricing on Horizon Amid Growing Adoption
XRP has been trading near its lowest price since November 2024, but senior analysts in Japan believe it's on the verge of a repricing. Rakuten Wallet Senior Analyst Yasuo Matsuda recently described XRP as 'uniquely exceptional' due to its original design for remittances. He argued that this credibility will eventually show up in the market cap, and it's just a matter of time before it does.
Matsuda's assessment is significant because Japan has been at the forefront of regulating and legitimizing digital assets. The bullish read on XRP isn't limited to Japan, as a German financial analyst also called XRP 'brutally oversold.' Institutional buyers appear to agree, with Ironbridge Private Wealth disclosing over $10 million in combined positions across the Bitwise XRP ETF and Volatility Shares XRP ETF.
The case for a repricing rests on several converging factors. XRP's active address count rose by about a third in August compared to July, with August 11 recording the highest daily activity. AI agent transactions settled on the XRP ledger via x402 are approaching 2 million. Additionally, Ripple moved 50 million XRP from its wallet, a transfer that 'rarely happens without a reason,' according to Digital Asset Investor.
