XRP and Cardano Plunge as Avalanche Sees 2.59% Surge
Crypto markets presented a mixed picture in morning trading, with some altcoins experiencing sharp losses while others posted modest gains.
XRP and Cardano were among the session's heaviest fallers, plummeting by 3.89% to $1.05 and 4.29% to $0.16 respectively.
Bitcoin also fell, dropping 1.11% to $63,389.94, while Solana declined 1.07% to $73.09.
On the other hand, Avalanche climbed 2.59% to $6.46, making it the strongest performer of the morning.
The session reflects a market without clear directional consensus, with liquidity shifting away from payment-focused tokens such as XRP and layer-one projects like Cardano, while speculative and smart-contract platforms saw selective buying interest.
