XRP Bolsters Settlement Engine Role with Institutional Adoption
XRP is positioning itself as a key settlement engine for modern finance, particularly in cross-border transactions. According to Evernorth, XRP's role lies in facilitating fast and transparent value transfers between institutions, rather than speculation. The XRP Ledger is developing features such as bulk payments, private transfers, on-chain credit, streaming payments, and conditional payments to build comprehensive financial infrastructure.
The regulatory support from Japan has further strengthened XRP's position as a settlement engine for institutions. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse views the CLARITY Act as the last major regulatory obstacle for XRP to gain wider institutional adoption.
XRP ETFs recorded a net inflow of $592,470 on July 27, bringing total inflows to about $1.50 billion. However, recent demand has slowed significantly, with the price of XRP nearing the critical $1.00, $1.02 support zone.
