XRP Bounces Back Above $1.40 as Breakout to $2.70 Looms
XRP (XRP) has bounced back above $1.40 after dropping from its mid-August peak of $1.70, according to recent market data. The token's recovery comes as spot trading activity reached its highest level since February, with Binance handling nearly $7.3 billion in XRP trades.
XRP-linked funds also saw their strongest weekly inflows of 2026, attracting more than $110 million during the end of August. This demand has supported the bullish case for XRP, with analyst EGRAG CRYPTO suggesting that a breakout could send it towards $2.70.
EGRAG sees $1.50 and $1.60 as immediate resistance levels before reaching $2.00, a possible target representing a 100% advance from recent lows under his scenario. The analyst's case depends on buyers reclaiming resistance that has repeatedly limited earlier breakout attempts.
