XRP Branding Hits College Football Fields

Ripple's cryptocurrency XRP has gained significant mainstream exposure after the Kansas Jayhawks football program featured it in their season-opening video, which showcased their 51-6 victory over Long Island University.

The partnership between Ripple and Kansas Athletics was announced earlier this year, with the agreement covering every athletics team. As part of the deal, XRP branding will appear on uniforms across all Kansas Athletics teams, making it the first integration of a cryptocurrency into the jerseys of a major college athletics program.

Ripple has also signed a separate multi-year agreement with Florida Athletics, where the XRP logo appears prominently on the field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The company's sports strategy aims to create a separation between itself and the token being promoted, giving the digital asset direct exposure in a regulated U.S. sports environment.
