XRP Classified as Digital Commodity in Revised Clarity Act Draft
Senate Republicans released a revised draft of the CLARITY Act just hours before the cloture vote, expanding the bill from 616 pages to 635.
The new language defines an ancillary asset as a network token whose value depends on entrepreneurial or managerial efforts associated with its originator or related parties.
This classification settles XRP's status in secondary markets regardless of how much Ripple holds, and no provision causes an ancillary asset to stop being a network token.
