The XRP community has been abuzz with excitement after a recent post from Jim Cramer, a well-known financial commentator. In his statement, Cramer expressed certainty that the CLARITY Act would not pass, but many in the crypto community saw this as a bullish sign.

Cramer's track record of getting major market calls wrong has made his predictions a contrarian signal for investors. When he expresses certainty about an outcome, it often means the opposite is true.

The CLARITY Act is currently close to a vote in the Senate, with cloture set for September 15, 2026. Senator Bernie Moreno has stated that negotiations are finished and all 53 Senate Republicans are expected to vote in favor of cloture.

With at least 7 Democrats needed to cross over to advance the bill past the cloture threshold, the main organized opposition comes from the banking lobby. However, former House Financial Services Committee Chairman Patrick McHenry has pushed back against this effort, saying it is 'falling on deaf ears.'
