$XRP Community Warned About Fake Reward Campaigns

The $XRP Ledger Foundation has issued a warning to investors about fake reward campaigns spreading online. Scammers are using social media to imitate legitimate XRP organizations and push investors toward private conversations, external websites, or unauthorized services.

According to the foundation, there are no XRP airdrops or rewards given out by them, Ripple, or wallets in the community. They urge users to carefully review announcements involving airdrops, giveaways, or wallet activity before taking action.

RippleX, Ripple's developer-focused division, also issued a security public service announcement warning investors about phishing attempts and fake giveaway posts appearing on X.

The alert focused on a fake 'XRP Rewards Scanner' promoted through fabricated screenshots and false claims that investors could recover unclaimed XRP by scanning their wallets. RippleX advises users to always verify posts through official channels before clicking a link or connecting a wallet, never share their secret key or recovery phrase, and review every transaction before signing.
