XRP Could Outshine Ethereum by 306% According to Analyst's Technical Pattern
Crypto analyst Dark Defender has identified a potential long-term technical pattern in the XRP/ETH trading pair that could lead to significant gains for XRP. The analysis suggests that if the current formation unfolds towards its projected target, XRP could outperform Ethereum by a wide margin.
According to Dark Defender's Elliott Wave analysis, the present setup is classified as a fourth-wave correction, with a potential move towards the 0.002238 ETH per XRP zone forming the fifth wave. This would imply a gain of roughly 306% from current levels for XRP relative to Ethereum.
The current XRP/ETH ratio stands at around 0.000551, down from 0.000570 on September 11. Intermediate key levels at 0.0006487 and 0.0007773 have been marked as significant Fibonacci resistance points that must be reclaimed before a larger rally could materialize.
The analyst emphasized that XRP's relative strength could improve not only if XRP rises while Ethereum stays flat, but also if both assets climb at different rates, or if both decline yet ETH falls further. The central theme is that the XRP/ETH ratio measures relative price performance, not absolute price movements in dollar terms.
Regulated institutional access to XRP has grown in the United States following new ETF approvals. The Bitwise XRP ETF and the Canary XRP ETF allow investors to gain exposure to the token through mainstream financial channels.
