XRP Enters Consolidation Phase as Momentum Cools
XRP has started September on a weaker note after failing to sustain momentum above the $1.40-$1.45 resistance zone.
The rejection there has pulled price into a consolidation phase, with XRP trading near $1.36 at press time, down 5.77% on the week, though still up 26.77% on the month.
Analyst Dark Defender points to the bullish monthly close as a signal that the broader uptrend isn't finished, flagging resistance levels at $1.88, $4.11, and $5.85, with $7.07 as a longer-term target if momentum resumes.
The derivatives market backs up short-term caution, with XRP seeing $3.98 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours, with long positions accounting for $2.72 million of that total.
