XRP Enters Major DeFi Credit Market via Sentora's RLUSD Vault
XRP has gained significant utility in decentralized finance (DeFi) through its integration into Sentora's RLUSD vault on Ethereum.
This move allows XRP holders to use FXRP as collateral to borrow RLUSD, a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, without selling their underlying assets.
The integration represents a major expansion of XRP's financial utility beyond transfers and payments, particularly for holders seeking liquidity without sacrificing exposure to XRP.
Sentora co-founder Jesus Rodriguez stated: 'XRP is one of the largest and most liquid digital assets in the market. By enabling FXRP as collateral in our RLUSD vaults, we are bringing that scale into DeFi and expanding the productive utility of XRP across onchain credit markets.'
The vault holds approximately $280 million in deposited RLUSD and utilizes Morpho Blue lending infrastructure to manage isolated FXRP/RLUSD markets.
