XRP ETF Inflows Defy Price Drop as Bitcoin Funds Bleed Capital
XRP ETFs have seen steady inflows despite XRP's price drop. Over the past three days, XRP fell by 2.8% to around $1.36. In contrast, Bitcoin ETFs experienced net outflows of $282.6 million during the same period.
The split between Bitcoin and XRP ETF flows is an interesting phenomenon. While investors are withdrawing from Bitcoin funds, they're continuing to put money into XRP products. This could indicate a different holder base for XRP or simply a quieter version of the volatility affecting Bitcoin ETFs.
Crypto ETF flows measure creations and redemptions within the fund wrapper, which can be separate from token price action. Inflows can occur even when the underlying token drops in value, as buyers are adding shares faster than sellers are cashing out.
