XRP ETF Inflows Plummet 93% as Price Defends $1.00 Level
The XRP ETF complex saw a significant collapse in inflows to $1.01 million this week, down 93% from the previous week's $14.86 million. This decline mirrors the price action of XRP, which dipped to $1.01 but defended the $1.00 psychological level and recovered towards the $1.02-$1.04 range.
The institutional money that was expected to support XRP is not showing up in size, leading to a lackluster performance compared to other major crypto fund categories. Meanwhile, Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $754 million and Ethereum ETFs added between $195 million and $244.94 million during the same period.
The decline in XRP's price was largely driven by a repricing of existing holdings, rather than redemptions from allocators. This is evident from the fact that the complex posted a net inflow of $1.01 million this week, but still saw its total assets decline to approximately $964 million.
The regulatory picture for XRP remains uncertain, tied to the CLARITY Act's path through the Senate, which has not yet been resolved. Until this clarity is achieved, allocators appear content to park their capital elsewhere and wait.
