XRP ETF Inflows Reach Record High Amid Sluggish Token Price
XRP's institutional engine is revving up as investors pour in record amounts of capital through exchange-traded funds, but the token price remains stuck.
On the same day that XRP ETFs logged their strongest inflows on record, investors were pulling capital from Bitcoin and Ethereum products, responding to Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh's speech at the central bank symposium in Jackson Hole, which markets read as a signal for tighter monetary policy.
The record fund demand has not tracked XRP's own price trajectory, with the token currently trading at $1.39, up 28 percent on the month but down 5.0 percent on the week. Year-to-date, XRP remains 24 percent in the red.
