XRP ETF Inflows Remain Tepid as Asset Struggles Below $1
The performance of XRP spot ETFs has been unimpressive in recent weeks. Despite ending last week in the green, the actual inflows into these funds have been minimal. In fact, according to the latest data, a total of $2.25 million flowed into the XRP ETFs last week, but this was concentrated in just one day - Thursday.
This influx is a far cry from the significant amounts seen earlier this summer, when the XRP ETFs were raking in over $20 million weekly in late June and over $60 million in mid-May. The cumulative total net inflows have remained at just over $1.51 billion, with little to no movement over the past couple of weeks.
The price of XRP has also been struggling, dipping below $1.00 for the first time in nearly two years and currently fighting to reclaim that level decisively. The asset's rejection at $1.10 recently and subsequent decline to $1.05 support have contributed to this downward trend.
On a more positive note, several large US institutions, including Morgan Stanley, have revealed significant exposure to XRP through ETFs in recent days. However, this has not seemed to translate into increased investor interest or price stability for the asset.
