XRP ETF Sees Record Inflows Amid Asset Price Decline
The US spot XRP exchange-traded fund complex has seen record-breaking cumulative inflows of $1.51 billion since its launch, while net assets stand at $988.78 million, equivalent to 1.49% of XRP's market capitalization.
This disparity is largely due to the significant price decline of XRP, which has fallen by 41.51% year-to-date and 70.55% beneath its all-time high, trading at $1.07 to $1.08 with a market capitalization near $65 billion.
The category leader, NYSE Arca-listed fund under the XRP ticker, now holds the largest share of cumulative inflows at $500 million, representing 33% of the total, surpassing the Nasdaq-listed XRPC which ranks second with $466.97 million in cumulative net inflows.
The funds have absorbed four consecutive sessions of inflows, with institutions buying into weakness rather than waiting for price confirmation, yet the price has not responded, remaining stuck at its current level.
