XRP ETFs Defy Bear Market Trend, But Warning Signs Emerge
Ripple's (XRP) spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have defied a bearish market trend, recording their fourth consecutive week in the green. However, some warning signs cannot be ignored.
This is despite the fact that May and June saw heavy losses for Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, with billions of dollars in net withdrawals. In contrast, XRP's spot ETF counterparties managed to defy this trend, recording an impressive nine consecutive weeks in the green.
However, July began on a negative note, with over $7 million in net withdrawals. Despite this, the following three weeks saw net inflows of $6.78 million, $8.15 million, and $14.86 million respectively, ending the month with net inflows of $27.29 million.
However, a closer look at the data reveals that this was the second-weakest month in terms of net inflows since January this year. Furthermore, August is also showing modest inflows of just $1 million, compared to over $1 billion combined for BTC and ETH ETFs.
