XRP ETFs Draw Inflows as Bitcoin and Ether Funds Post Outflows
U.S. crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs) showed mixed results on Tuesday as XRP-focused products attracted fresh money while larger bitcoin and ether vehicles moved lower.
The divergence left bitcoin ETF net assets back below $100 billion after briefly exceeding that threshold on Sept. 3.
XRP ETFs drew nearly $2 million in inflows, making them the only U.S. crypto ETFs with significant new investment, totaling $1.69 billion in inflows to date.
U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of about $47 million, mainly due to Grayscale's GBTC losing $66 million, despite $41 million in combined inflows to low-fee rivals.
The fee disparities between products continue to drive investor rotation and pushed bitcoin ETF net assets below $100 billion after briefly exceeding that threshold.
