XRP ETFs Flooded with Institutional Money, Yet Price Remains Stagnant
The seven US spot XRP ETFs have accumulated approximately 992.5 million tokens in custody, representing nearly 1% of the total 100 billion XRP supply. Since their launch in November 2025, these funds have seen cumulative net inflows exceeding $1.4 billion.
Despite this significant institutional investment, XRP has traded within a narrow range between $1.02 and $1.12 throughout August 2026. This price stability contrasts with the substantial inflows of institutional money into the market.
The combined assets under management across all seven ETFs total near $1 billion as of August 2026, with Bitwise leading the pack at roughly 296.7 million XRP tokens in its fund. Franklin Templeton and Canary Capital follow closely behind, holding approximately 240 million and 232 million tokens, respectively.
The initial traction of these ETFs was impressive, reaching $1 billion in cumulative inflows shortly after launch. They even outpaced Bitcoin ETFs in this regard, which debuted in early 2024 but didn't manage zero net outflow days during their first month of trading.
