XRP ETFs Gain Institutional Traction
A growing number of U.S. asset managers are incorporating XRP-linked exchange-traded products into their portfolios, signaling that XRP exposure is moving into mainstream institutional channels.
Ledger Capital Management, a Kansas-based firm managing portfolios for both individual and institutional clients, reported holding 16,745 shares of Franklin Templeton's Franklin XRP Trust ETF (XRPZ) during the second quarter of 2026. This position was valued at roughly $206,000 as of June 30, 2026.
The clustering of XRP-related positions in regulatory disclosures indicates that professional investors are seeking multiple routes to participate in the Ripple ecosystem beyond spot-market XRP trading. Galaxy Digital, Arrington Capital, Private Shares Fund, and GAM Alternatives Lux agreed to purchase roughly $130 million worth of Ripple Labs private shares in connection with Ringtō's bankruptcy process.
The uptick in XRP-related positions comes against a backdrop of evolving legal and regulatory perceptions. XRP was previously at the center of a high-profile dispute over whether it should be treated as a security, but subsequent court rulings reduced some of the overhang that had constrained institutional engagement.
