XRP Exchange Activity Plummets as Bulls Maintain Market Confidence
Recent data from Binance shows that XRP exchange activity has been declining sharply. Between June and now, the number of deposits and withdrawals on the platform dropped from around 650,000 to approximately 350,000.
This decline in activity is a signal that fewer coins are being moved through trading venues, which can indicate lower immediate selling pressure. However, it's essential to note that reduced activity alone does not guarantee a bullish outcome, as participation across the network has also cooled.
The latest data suggests that investors prefer holding their positions rather than actively moving funds. As a result, exchange flow remains an important indicator in this market, highlighting how participants position themselves before the next major price move.
The NVT Ratio, which measures the relationship between network valuation and on-chain transaction volume, has surged 144.21% to 697.6 over the past day. This sharp increase indicates that XRP's market capitalization is expanding faster than its on-chain transaction volume, often a sign of growing investor confidence.
However, this divergence also raises concerns that price appreciation is outpacing actual network usage. Despite these concerns, the elevated reading complements the decline in Binance activity, as both metrics point to a market with fewer circulating coins and stronger holding behavior.
