XRP Falls Below $1 as Peter Brandt Reiterates Bearish Stance
XRP has fallen below the $1 mark for the first time since November 2024, raising concerns about its short-term price performance. Veteran trader Peter Brandt has reiterated his bearish view on XRP, stating that if he held a large position in it, he would immediately exchange it for Bitcoin.
Brandt's comments are consistent with his long-standing attitude towards XRP, which he has frequently criticized in the past. In November 2024, during a rally in XRP, Brandt mentioned that the token broke through its 2023 high and showed signs of a 'breakout after a major consolidation.'
However, by March 2025, he shifted back to caution, warning that if the bearish pattern holds, XRP could fall back to around $1.07. Now, with XRP returning to the $1 level, Brandt's earlier projection has once again attracted market attention.
