XRP Hits Lowest Daily Close of 2026, Relief Rally Possible
XRP's price has reached its lowest daily close of 2026 at $1.027 on Aug. 6, according to TradingView data.
The coin lags behind Bitcoin in the ongoing selling pressure, and technical analysts say the overall downtrend is still intact.
ChartNerd, a technical analyst, highlighted that XRP has returned to the June low region after repeated rejections at key moving averages.
XRP has been rejected at the 50-day exponential moving average in eight of the past 10 weeks and failed to reclaim the 20-day EMA, driving the latest drop toward $1.01.
ChartNerd believes that the current support area could trigger a short-term rebound but expects any recovery to be a relief rally, not a lasting trend reversal.
