$XRP Holders Can Now Access DeFi with a Single Signature Thanks to Flare Smart Accounts v1.3

Flare has released its Smart Accounts v1.3 update, enabling $XRP holders to access DeFi vaults with just a single signature from their XRPL wallet.

This move simplifies the process of accessing yield-generating vaults for $XRP holders, who previously had to navigate multiple complex steps and create new wallets.

The update builds on the growing momentum of XRPFi, with nearly 75% growth in FXRP deployed in DeFi since February 2026, from 82 million to 144 million FXRP.

More than 40 million $XRP is currently earning yield through Flare Smart Accounts, while nearly 24,000 Smart Accounts have been created.
