XRP Holders Told to Focus on Income Planning, Not Token Quantity
Crypto advisor Jake Claver has urged XRP holders to shift their focus from accumulating tokens to planning for income generation. In a recent commentary, Claver emphasized that the determining factor in investing should be how much passive income an individual wants to generate, not just the number of tokens in their account.
Claver ran a hypothetical calculation based on a $100 XRP price tag, where a holder with 20,000 tokens would have a portfolio valued at $2 million. If that person drew 5% of their holdings annually, it would provide $100,000 in pre-tax income per year.
The approach encourages investors to use different price scenarios and calculate the portfolio size needed to achieve their financial goals, whether those goals require a certain level of security or income.
