XRP Holders Warned of Potential August Decline as Historical Data Points to Drop Below $1
Crypto commentator Zach Rector has sounded an alarm for XRP holders, warning that historical market data indicates a potential decline during August. According to Rector, XRP's performance in midterm election years is worth watching, citing instances where it dropped by 5% in August 2014, fell 23% in the same month in 2018, and posted a 13% loss in August 2022.
Based on these historical averages, Rector suggests that XRP could fall into the $0.88 to $0.90 range. He emphasized that this is not a guarantee of future performance but noted that several market participants have already identified those levels as possible support if selling pressure continues through August.
Rector has also shared his own plan, stating that he has placed buy orders above the anticipated price zone and expressed optimism about accumulating more XRP should it revisit those levels. He acknowledged that historical performance does not guarantee identical results and invited his audience to share their expectations on whether this year will follow previous midterm-year trends.
