$XRP Holders Warned of Potential Government Asset Seizure

Controversial media personality Alex Jones has sparked alarm among XRP holders with his warning that governments may attempt to seize private assets in times of financial crisis.

In a recent video, Jones claimed that governments facing a systemic financial collapse would try to 'grab' whatever assets they could, including cryptocurrencies like $XRP and Bitcoin.

'I am not predicting what $XRP is gonna do,' Jones said. 'I am not involved in this market. I am not an expert on [it].'

Jones pointed to existing bank-resolution frameworks in the US and EU, which allow for the restructuring of failing banks, but noted that these rules do not explicitly cover cryptocurrencies.
