$XRP Holds Above Key EMA as Bulls Remain in Control
Despite a slow start to the week, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Ripple ($XRP) maintain their bullish outlook. The 5th-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, $XRP, has pulled back slightly in the last 24 hours but remains trading at $1.40.
A closer look at derivative indicators reveals mixed reactions from traders. According to CoinGlass data, the long-to-short ratio is above one, indicating more long positions than short, but Open Interest (OI) and volume have decreased by 1% and 8.8%, respectively.
The funding rate stands at a positive 0.0054%, suggesting a bullish bias. The recent NFP report has given way to attention on CPI data for insight into the US inflation status.
$XRP's technical structure remains constructive, with support from its position above the 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day exponential moving averages (EMAs). The rising 200-day EMA near $1.353 reinforces the token's underlying long-term uptrend.
The Relative Strength Index has retreated to just below 60, indicating cooling bullish momentum but still a moderately positive outlook. Meanwhile, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence indicator has turned marginally negative, pointing to weakening short-term momentum and possible consolidation.
