XRP Investors Defy Paper Losses, Buy Asset Despite Price Drop
XRP's price has been under pressure, with investors facing a paper loss of $746.1 million on a cost basis of roughly $1.7 billion across five major US spot XRP ETFs.
Despite this, investors have continued to buy the asset, with SEC filings showing that Bitwise, Canary Capital, Franklin Templeton, 21Shares, and Grayscale recorded about $629.9 million in primary-market share creations against $309.1 million in redemptions through H1, leaving net capital flow positive by $320.8 million.
Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart described the demand for XRP as 'surprisingly resilient', with cumulative net inflows across the asset class at $1.8 billion.
