XRP Lands Multi-Year Deal with University of Florida
Ripple's partnership with Florida Sports has brought another boost to XRP. The University of Florida and Ripple have signed a multi-year marketing agreement, which will see the XRP logo displayed on the field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium during football games this season. This is not the first time Ripple has ventured into college sports; earlier this year, it reached an agreement with the Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team.
The deal also involves Ripple supporting financial and tech education for Florida's student-athletes and the broader campus community. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
University of Florida Athletics Director Scott Stricklin said, 'Florida has a long history of embracing innovation and technology to enhance our fan experience and drive our programs forward.' He welcomed XRP to Gator Nation.
