XRP Ledger 3.3.0 Brings Institutional Finance and Tokenization Features
The XRP Ledger has reached a new milestone with the release of version 3.3.0, which includes six amendments targeting institutional finance, tokenization, and advanced decentralized applications.
The upgrade introduces several key features, including Confidential Transfers, atomic Batch Transactions, Permission Delegation, sponsored fees, and Dynamic MPT.
Confidential Transfers enables encrypted Multi-Purpose Token balances and transfers while preserving on-chain verification. Batch Transactions allows up to eight transactions to execute atomically, meaning every transaction succeeds together or the entire batch fails.
The upgrade also includes Permission Delegation, which lets organizations authorize specific wallets for limited actions while treasury funds remain stored in cold wallets.
Sherlock testing identified 2 critical, 6 high, 29 medium, and 59 low-severity vulnerabilities, all of which were resolved before launch. The release also includes performance upgrades that cut reported memory use by 10% to 15% and speed synchronization.
