The XRP Ledger has undergone a major network upgrade, marking a significant security milestone. The fixCleanup3_2_0 amendment, which brings important fixes to various components of the ledger, was activated on July 28 with 85.71% validator support (30 of 35) on mainnet.

Hussein Zangana, director of community at the XRP Ledger Foundation, described the upgrade as a 'flip-of-the-switch' moment, stating that XRPL 3.2.0 is now the new minimum version for mainnet.

The fixCleanup3_2_0 upgrade hardens what already shipped and adds precision and rounding fixes for single asset vaults and the lending protocol; patches for the permissioned DEX and permissioned domains; validation for non-canonical MPT amounts; and new invariant checks for cleaner ledger state.
