XRP Ledger Activates Fix Amendment with Overwhelming Validator Consensus
The XRP Ledger has implemented a fix amendment to address several issues in the network. The fixCleanup3_2_0 amendment, which includes bug fixes and enhancements to the infrastructure and developers, was activated with an 85.71% validator consensus vote. This means that 30 out of 35 trusted validators voted in favor of the amendment, while 5 opposed it.
The update has an immediate impact on operators using software versions prior to version 3.2.0, which is now the minimum required version for compatibility with the mainnet. According to XRPScan data, there are currently 103 validators running version 3.2.0, accounting for 68.67% of all validators, and 543 nodes running version 3.2.0, making up 64.26% of all nodes.
The fix amendment includes several key changes, including the correction of rounding and accuracy problems in Single Asset Vaults and Lending Protocol, as well as addressing bugs in the Permissioned DEX and Permissioned Domains. The update also brings a significant protocol change with XLS-0095, which officially renames the rippled server software to xrpld.
