XRP Ledger Activity Surges Near 200k Users Amid Market Uncertainty
The XRP Ledger is nearing its highest activity milestone in months, with nearly 200,000 active users. This marks a significant recovery in ecosystem participation, following earlier struggles to sustain even 100,000 daily active users.
Activity on the XRP Ledger has been steadily increasing since July's second half, reaching its highest level in recent months. The round number of 200,000 is not just significant, but also indicates that network activity is starting to return to normal rather than responding to sporadic spikes in speculative trading.
Increased user activity is typically seen as a healthier indicator for blockchain networks, often accompanied by higher transaction counts, payment volume, and liquidity across decentralized applications built on the ledger. However, the market has not yet fully reflected these strengthening fundamentals, with XRP currently trading around $1.07 after failing to overcome resistance around $1.10.
The asset is still stuck below its 50-day and 100-day moving averages, serving as dynamic barriers. The technical picture remains conflicted, despite on-chain metrics improving. The next significant obstacle before the long-term trend shifts in favor of buyers is the 200-day moving average at $1.21.
