XRP Ledger Activity Surges to Two-Month High Amid Bearish Sentiment

XRP Ledger activity has reached a two-month high as Santiment recorded 49,929 active addresses in one 24-hour period on Aug. 14.

This spike extends an increase already visible earlier in August, when daily active addresses averaged about 35,700 through Aug. 12, compared with roughly 26,400 during July.

Despite the rise in activity, $XRP commentary reached a three-month bearish extreme across various crypto channels, according to Santiment.

The distinction between on-chain activity and sentiment is crucial, as higher active-address counts do not necessarily establish whether the activity came from new investors or existing participants.
